Ercol Pebble Tables

Fantastic original 1960's set of three nesting pebble tables by Ercol.
I picked this set up yesterday afternoon and immediately set about sympathetic restoration.
I stripped & stained the tops last night and a final polish this morning to finish them, as you can see they now look absolutely stunning.
Happy days down West...

  2. Hi Jeff,
I sand the Elm tops using a med (70) grade sandpaper, always following the grain. Then wash with Colron English light oak stain using a soft cloth. Allow the stain to dry over night hen finish using a Briwax polish in P7 med brown.
I have found this to a good way to restore solid teak and elm furniture but be very careful if sanding veneered furniture.
    Cheers Al
